Henry, or should I call you Harry? Since we share the same name I am more than happy to commemorate your military service, particularly as I also served in the infantry, but it was in peacetime, not in wartime as you did. It would seem that your unit was involved in the fighting at Passchendaele, and I read that on October 25th a heavy deluge of rain affected the attack you were making, and once more the ground was churned up into a thick mud. It was no surprise to learn that your remains were not retrieved from the thick mud on the field of conflict. Henry I salute you as the brave soldier you undoubtedly were. I offer sincere sympathy to your family who mourned your loss. Rest in Peace. Harry.
