In memory of William Gamble, Private 907657, who died serving in "B" Company, 5th Battalion, Canadian Infantry (Saskatchewan Regiment) on 10 November 1917 (CWGC ref-90IS3), the final day of the Second Battle of P***chendaele. He is commemorated by name on Special Memorial 72, believed to be buried in Tyne Cot Cemetery. His mother received the Memorial Cross in honour of his sacrifice.
