Peter, we know you were the son of William and Hannah Fraser of Crask of Aigas. Your mother died in 1904 and your father in 1908. You are named on the family gravestone in Kilmorack Old Cemetery, together with your parents and sister Agnes and brothers Duncan, Donald and James. We know from the gravestone that James served as a commissioned officer in the Camerons. We do not know when you yourself transferred from the 4th to the 1st Camerons, but we do know that in July 1916 you were involved in the Battles of the Somme, were the fighting was the most bloody of the whole war. This would be where you yourself lost your life, but even though your parents had died, your siblings would have mourned your sacrifice. Harry.
