Cyril Baldrey, Private 271192, 7th Bn., Bedfordshire Regiment who died aged 19 on 24 April 1918.

Killed in action at Villers-Bretonneux (Somme, northern France). He had signed up underage and fought in France before being returned to depot in the UK (presumably because his age was discovered). Once he reached 18 he was sent back to the front and sadly died shortly afterwards.

Remembered with Honour, Adelaide Cemetery, Villers-Bretonneux
