WAJ Copsey lived in Holme Hale in Norfolk, UK, and as a young man he emigrated to Canada. He lived in Winnipeg and married Grace. As the war gathered momentum he joined the Nova Scotia Regiment and returned to England for training. He then went to France and was injured twice but returned to the trenches where he was killed at Passenchendale on 30th October 1917. He is listed on the Menin Gate at Ypres.
