Always remember being told about you by my Mum and Nan ( your daughter ) and looking at your name on the War Memorial in Wigan. As I got older and understood more I decided to find out more and after much searching finally found a picture of you which had been printed in the local paper with an obituary , and found out you had been a plasterer by trade. A brave man who had also fought in a war before , you left a young family behind but were never forgotten and I have told my children about you so you will always be remembered. God Bless.
